Seeing as there is no discussion about this episode, I thought I'd raise a point.
Early on in the episode Abby tests the d-links to see what material they are made of, and other things. She finds out that the d-link was made out of aluminium, and that the company doesn't make them in aluminium. What this suggests is that Abby has held both d-links. Why didn't SHE notice that there was a weight difference? She is usually the one to point out "hinky" stuff, so why not now? I think this shows that the writers either had a lazy day, or they genuinely didn't know what the problem was.
Do you find this valuable?
