Seadog
Synopsis:
A Naval Commander is suspected of involvement with drug-trafficking after his body and bullet-riddled boat washes ashore near a similar wreckage and the bodies of two drug-traffickers. The NCIS team must find the other party involved in the shoot out in order to prove the Commander's innocence.

New Character Development / Insights:
  • This is the first we see that Gibbs and Abby can sign. Abby can because she's a hearing child of deaf parents. Parents that Gibbs refers to in the past tense...
  • The Duck has a temper. He gets really agitated when someone messes up a crime scene. And if you mess with his crime scene, you'd better hope you're not on a cliff.
  • We learn that Gibbs isn't above using a bit of his natural charm to get what he wants.
Funny Moments:
  • Tony, after learning that the drug-sniffing dog is also named Tony: "He must be a real stud."
    Fuller replies, with a smile: "He's neutered." Human Tony gives Fuller the most hateful of looks.
  • It's not funny but it is a moment-- Gibbs says "Please" to Tony. He calls Tony up to "Escort Ms.Fontaine off our crime scene, please."
  • When Gibbs goes to one of the Seadogs basketball courts and talks to the guys, then jumps over the fence, the look on the guys' faces - that an 'old' guy can climb the fence so quickly
  • The look on Ms Fontaine's face when Gibbs goes off with the mysterious red head.
  • When Fuller observes that he "sees why you never talk" in speaking to Gerald. Gerald then looks over and pulls out an earplug.
  • When Tony tries to sign "I should have known", Gibbs tells him that he needs to wash his hands out with soap for what he just said.
Trivia:
  • William R. Moses, who played DEA Agent Fuller, used to be related to Mark Harmon. He was married to MH's niece, Tracy Nelson, for ten years.

        Was I the only one who damn near peed themselves laughing at Michael Weatherley's faux Aussie accent? He sounded like a bad impersonation of Paul Hogan. Love the episode though.
