I am not normally given to "talking to the TV" but I love to greet McGee - with a big Hello and to this end - I customarily say "Hello McGorgeous" - for Tony I say "Hiya Tone - wanna Coffee" because I often think he needs one - for Ziva "Mazeltov Sweetheart," or "Kom Schon areyn my dear" - I don't know much Yiddish and Less Hebrew but I hope to be corrected - Now for Abby - I love to see her at work and I have said "Abby - it's Patti - may I come in" for Gibbs - when I have the courage to speak - "Jethro - I saw the accident and I am sorry your coffee is spilled - please do not glare at me - or I shall not make a replacement" - I can say this because I am so much older than he and I think his manners are - nearly as polished as perfect - I want a part in the series - perhaps his mother's Aunty.
Way to go - I needed to write that out

Okay, its been a nice little stretch for this character. Now it is time to get rid of Jamie Lee Curtis and get someone better to play off Gibbs. There is just no chemistry with this character run.

Here we go! Season 8 is over (sigh) and it left us with some answers, but with lots of questions too.
Just like last year, now it's time for all of us to write our personal ''wishes list'' to 'Santa' Gary Glasberg and all NCIS scriptwriters :) What would like to see? Who would you like to see again? Which crimes? Action? Pesonal stories? What would you like to see on Season Premiere? What would you like to be the Season 9 long arc? Let's start asking, talking and analysing... maybe they'll listent to us LOL NOTES: - Spoilers Allowed but rumors forbidden. - Be nice with everybody and respect all opinions and members. - Do not bash any characters and/or actor, and respect their privacy. - Remember that 'hate' is not a good word and it's not nice to say that even though you do not like a character. - Stay on Topic. Here's her Posting:
Find this lady a good place to perch and she is fine - I have seen "The Tell" recently and I am lost to understand why people speak so negatively of her. In my not particularly humble opinion she has the looks and talent of two great actors in combination and in her case I believe it to be true that she exemplifies the idea of the WHOLE being of greater value than the summary of its parts. She is restrained - in her portrayal of a Doctor and a Psychiatrist at that ! Such people are supposed to be more controlled in their emotions, or they are no use to their patients. I do not feel right now - dismissing her restrained portrayal as wooden maybe she has had parts given to her where she has not been effective, but I feel that I have to make the effort here and now - to redress the balance. This - after I have seen "The Tell" - she is closer to Gibbs in age - she is gentle and FUN too but in a more mature way - who is to say that in maturity there is no place for love. Is Ducky going to leave NCIS? Is he going to have a nervous breakdown after being accused of being a "war criminal" in Afghanistan this week? Ducky was cleared, but he was in comforting arms at the end of the show.

When it comes to good shows, I can get totally into them - emotions as well. When Kate died, I was upset. But tonight's season 9 finale had me crying. I've watched this show from day one, and I am just in a knot about three of the characters - Tony, Ziva and Abby.... because as of a week ago, no renewals had been made on their contracts for the show. I was upset about Ducky's heart attack but I know he's already signed on for the next season or two... thus I know Ducky survives. However, I love all the characters - minus Director Vance and I'm overall iffy on Jamie Lee Curtis' role. I realize that Mark Harmon and Jamie Lee Curtis are friends in real life and he asked her to join the show. BUT.... I see this potentially budding romance a bad move for Gibbs. There is something terribly off about her character. And finally, there need to be injuries only to the main cast members.... especially since my cat just had kittens on the 9th and I named them after Gibbs, Ziva, Tony and McGee. Call it what you will, but they live up to their namesakes in behavior and mannerisms. Overall, I think this was the best season finale yet for NCIS but it's got me very upset with the possibility of losing some of the team.

The fact that this episode is going to be focused of Palmer who isn't one of the main characters makes me suspicious. Imean compared to the others, who cares abou Palmer? However, perhaps this is a way of us getting to know him better if Ducky dies in judgement day and he becomes the main autopsy guy or whatever?!
I myself am not covinced by this idea however, since it is called judgement day which suggests somone will be paying for their sins and who has Ducky ever hurt? Also, the agents and director are in more dangerous situations where there is the potential for murder. Thoughts?

I think it would be fun if the writers came up with an episode that had David McCallum and Robert Vaughn together again. Maybe Vaughn could play the villian and Ducky could solve the case with Gibbs. Could be a lot of fun if done right.
