i happen to agree, i think gibbs is better without a love interest he sees the team as his kids, and even though the show life through his eyes was suppose to let him go of his late wife shannon he has not, even when ryan said something about the sunlight hitting the room he said someone else used to say the same thing, he still loves his late wife and no love interest will ever replace that, i think he better off just as the team leader and father to this team

I picked Ziva because IMHO she is more "cold blooded" for lack of better words - Kensy seems more human - I will never forget in "Child's Play" when Ziva shot a man dead in the head and then had Thanksgiving dinner soon after. I know she was doing her job/duty and the guy needed to be taken out but taking a life has to effect anyone even if it was justified and necessary - I have know some LEO's who have killed in the line and they were effected by it allot.

Yes, his lack of self confidence back then could definitely stem from an impossible to please strictly Naval officer father. Especially since Penny's husband - Tim's grandfather, was an Admiral as well. Lots of pressure!

Darn him, he grows on you - he has that in common with my Grandson - about the same age (34) There are some lovely points about the character - I came scampering down here to avoid posting in reply to a "pity they did not kill both Jenny and Tony" I am so sorry but the post made me cry - how silly is that - but the poster made the point about when Jenny got shot, but she did - I believe - behave without thought - did she not commit the cardinal sin of not telling her team. I don't have a problem with them fictionalizing things like OSU being in the FInal Four in Baltimore in 2001 (for anyone keeping score, no pun intended, the 2001 Final Four took place in Minneapolis, MN, with Duke against Maryland and Arizona against Michigan State, with Duke beating Maryland in the final game), but it gets confusing when they constantly change facts about a character, especially things that are established canon.

I was soo relieved when Cote de Pablo signed a new contract. I think that Ziva is exactly what the show needed to spruce it up a lot. I think she was the perfect choice for a character. Her character is also progressing very well and I love it!!!!!!!

why not get her involved with the Hawaii 50 group and enjoin them, NCIS LA and NCIS in a 3 part, 2 night special event. I think that would be a hell of a way to end all 3 seasons.

oh I agree definitely - wouldn't presume to think she could be changed to Israeli....having said that though as an actress (especially one trained at a school as prestigious as Carnegie Mellon), it would probably pay off for her future career to spend part of her hiatus or perhaps a day off during filming working with a voice/accent coach

"I like TIVA. To me, Tony and Ziva being more than just partners at job, feels interesting. So, if the writers do indeed decide to give the 'Tiva tease' a more confirmed direction, I'd like it to be pro-Tiva.
But at the same time, I am not for mush or romance on screen. Maybe a moment or two here. But certainly not at the cost of taking away from the main story-line or plot. The Italy episode is following up terrorism line, and it is going to get close to the SF. So, I doubt if there'd any any big romance.
But Italy or not, I wouldn't mind a scene or two in the next few episodes, with hints that Tony and Ziva feel more strongly towards each other."

The problem with progressing Tiva from my point of view is its potential to alienate a very large group of the fanbase. Those who don't like Tiva will watch less and less if it progresses. those that do will watch until the UST becomes FST and then, by and large, get bored. The viewers drop and either the show ends or one or other of the pairing leave. No one wins and everyone loses. Even those that didn't care one way or the other about Tiva.
