"NCIS" star Michael Weatherly has sold his house in the Hollywood Hills for $1.845 million.

The redone one-story house sits behind gates and has ocean and mountain views. Features include French doors opening to the swimming pool, beamed ceilings, a fireplace, an updated kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, three en-suite bedrooms and a finished two-car garage used as a music room. There are four bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms and 2,600 square feet of living space. A covered area outdoors is set up as a gym.

Weatherly, 43, has starred as special agent Anthony DiNozzo on the highly rated crime drama, originally titled "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service," since 2003 and appeared as the same character on "JAG." "NCIS" ranked as America's most-watched show for the two-week period ended May 13, according to Nielsen.

Public records show Weatherly bought the property in 2008 for $2.21 million.

Denny Kagasoff of Prudential's Beverly Hills office was the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Paul Kellogg of Coldwell Banker's Beverly Hills North office represented the buyer.

Michael Weatherly Shares Meaning Behind Olivia’s Name

NCIS star Michael Weatherly and Bojana Jankovic welcomed their daughter Olivian on Tuesday, but it wasn’t until after they chose her name (Mom picked it out!) that they realized its deeper significance.

“My wife Bojana is Serbian and her name means war or warrior,” Weatherly, 43, tells PEOPLE.

“And when you give someone an olive branch, that’s an offering of peace so Olivia is peace. I think we have a Tolstoy novel going on now: Mother and daughter, war and peace!”

In spite of the “happy coincidence,” the new dad says that Jankovic and their bundle of joy “are instantly getting along so well, so there’s no problems.”

The same can be said for baby girl and Weatherly, who will continue shooting his CBS show until it wraps in a few weeks — and then he’ll have more time to spend with his family. Still, he adds, being on set isn’t all bad.

“I instantly felt surrounded by the love,” he says of sharing the birth announcement with the cast and crew. “I got a big hug from Mark Harmon. I was of course texting everyone! Everyone here has been incredibly supportive.”

I do not remember the actual quote but I liked the story he told Abby in the "Spider and the fly" about a famous quote from Winston Churchhill - Something like "If the British Empire last for another thousand years people will say this is our finest hour". The story was perfect for the current situation.
