some of my favorite persons are geeks (to wit: Richard, Feynmann) - nice bio - some people dont enter anything - i cant know the - i cant identify -

what is a seabee doing in the midwest no where near water??

LOL! I missed your question til now. There is a SeaBee unit in the Central Ohio area. They've done a lot of charitable construction projects and the two weeks a year is often another project at a bigger base. He's been to Gulfport, San Diego, ROTA, and Orlando to name a few. But, hubs hasn't been on a ship since he patrolled the Potomac in the '70s.
