Thanks for all the pictures. I've only been to Sydney for a couple of days many years ago, but would love to see the rest of your country. I noticed the photo of the mellaluca. They were imported to Southwest Florida years ago to dry up the swamps and have taken over all the native vegetation, as they have no predators. They have become a nuisance in the area.

Thanks very much for your thoughts. the bottle brushes should really be a nuisance, they attract butterflies and nectar eating birds.
Its ashame if they have affected the area like that...perhaps the wrong type were planted, as most don't bring up suckers.
I hope you get to revisit again some time....there is plenty to see in places you wouldn't think of. Have a great day/evening/night. JOY.
