THANK YOU TO ALL FOR THE SHOUT OUT! I haven't felt this verklempt since I won the best German student award in high school. My favorite character is Ziva, so I am often irritated by Kate fans who feel the need to bash her just because she's not Kate. Ziva's a cool and unique character, and she deserves more love. I liked Kate, but she was too ordinary. Kate was just your girl next door with a gun. She didn't have a dark past (that the show had time to go into), she didn't have any character quirks, and she couldn't just be a feminist character, she had to keep pointing it out. I am a full fledged NCIS geek. I write fan fiction and watch each episode multiple times. I love the show for the characters and the humor. I like that it's not straight up procedural. It's simply a great show I really like the community here and enjoy talking to people. The only thing I don't get is the whole "is this comment valuable" or whatever thing. A lot of people just use that to be petty and I think it, while meaning well, detracts from the community. I'm sure this is just a wikki thing and not particular to this site, but it's been bugging me since I joined. My addiction is Spoilers. Most days I'll check the spoiler sites at least once for any clue of what's going to happen next. I guess I'm naturally impatient. My dark NCIS secret is that I really like Ari. It's not because I'm happy he killed Kate or because he's good looking. I just find himincrediblysmart and charming and I appreciate that there was more to him than your average terrorist.
