This is a picture of me with a Blackhawk pilot from the Mather Mud Run last year - an event our "Basic Training Bootcamp" workout group does every year. I had lasik surgery a month before so I sat out the event as the doc said no sloshing thru mud for me. This year I will definitely be running. The local Marine "Poolies" run it every year as a team. It was cool to watch them do their PT before. Ooh-rah!

I love NCIS for a number of reasons. It is nice to have such a generally positive portrail of our military personnel on TV. The writing is the best of any show for a long time. It is amazing how they mix the drama of the crime solving with the great humor. I have been a long-time fan of Mark Harmon since I was about 14. He just gets better all the time!
